How to get your roof ready for winter

We have all heard the warning from The Old Famers Almanac... "Winter will be colder than normal, with above-normal precipitation. " With that warning in mind, it is time to get your roof ready for all that snow and ice!

Cut back trees

Prune your trees back asap! Tree branches get weighed down by snow and have a high risk of falling onto your roof.

Clean out gutters

If your gutters have debris, water can sit. If water sits, it will freeze which is terrible for your gutters!

Fix any roof issues fixed before snow

If you have missing shingle or anything to patch, call us today! Snow and ice can be detrimental if your roof isn't stable.

Check your roofs fascia and soffit

Check your fascia and soffit, especially around your chimney. During a snow storm the last thing you need is water getting in your house!
